Social dances are a chance for club members to practice their dance moves and for dancers from the community to socialize with dancers from the university. They are open to everyone and are a good opportunity to get a taste for dancing and meet new people. There are both beginner and more advanced lessons at each dance, so whether you’re a new dancer or someone with experience, there’s something for you to learn. There is no dress code but some dances have a theme that you may want to dress for.

Starred dances are introductions to the club. These are free for anyone to attend and focus more on introducing attendees to what ballroom dance is and what the Ballroom Dance Club at Georgia Tech has to offer them. There will still be opportunities for social dancing at the end, but these will generally be a little shorter than at a typical dance.
Dances marked with a dagger are fundraisers. Tickets are more expensive to help the club raise money for specific events. Send us an email to find out more about what we're fundraising for.
